Let’s Obliterate the Fake “Honest Questions” About Transgender People

Here in Michigan, a group of Nazi Republicans in the state Senate — including Confederate terrorist sympathizer Dale Zorn, who purports to represent Lenawee and Monroe Counties — just introduced a bill to ban transgender female athletes from school sports.  It is unconstitutional, and if passed by the legislature, will undoubtedly be vetoed by Governor Gretchen Whitmer, and if the legislature attempts to override that veto, it will be struck down in court, just as the handful of such laws in other states will be.

After I posted about this in Hillsdale’s Hot Debates, one member, Carrie Warner Rowan, apparently decided to have herself a little TERF-y meltdown, and asked some “honest questions.”

I initially had redacted Rowan’s surnames, because this wasn’t about her, this was about the arguments she was making.  I’ve encountered these “honest questions” many times before.  They are neither honest nor valid.  But I had originally decided to take it easy on Carrie on the very slim off-chance that she was genuinely asking these questions out of a desire to learn.

She wasn’t, and she dirty-deleted the entire thread before removing herself from the group, so she no longer gets the benefit of anonymity.  You would have been able to see her comment and her full name in Hillsdale’s Hot Debates while it was there, anyway, because while membership is required to participate, the contents of the group are publicly visible.

So here now is the thread that she removed (which is against the rules of the group) before leaving in a cloud of hatred. I answered every one of her “honest questions” point by point with the correct information. My intent was to put the ball in her court and leave it up to her whether or not she’ll admit she’s wrong. Obviously she took the ball and went home, thus proving me correct yet again.

UPDATE: Just in case these people get the same idea that Rowan had, here are some other comments from those who take issue with being called out for their hatred.  I’m not giving them the benefit of anonymity, because they came to me not even under the pretense of genuinely wanting to debate.  And if you’re still taking issue with my calling out Nazism for what it is, then you’re the problem.  Never again is now.
